Deep-fried squid with beer batter

Ingredients:
2 large squids, cleaned and cut into small pieces
½ regular can beer
¾ cup plain flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon paprika
½ cup flour, for dusting
Salt and pepper, to taste
Canola oil, for deep frying
1 wedge lime

Method:
1. In a mixing bowl, whisk the beer, flour, salt and paprika until well incorporated.

2. Season the squid with some salt and pepper.

3. Heat the oil in a pot over medium high heat until about 180ْC (you can test by dripping some batter in the oil. It should bubble and fry up quickly).

4. Lightly dust the squid pieces with the extra flour before dipping them in the batter.

5. Carefully place them in the hot oil and fry until golden brown.

6. Drain the fried squid and serve them with a wedge of lime and some salad.
