Sand Tart

Ingredients:
1 c. butter
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 tbsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans


Methods:
1) Cream butter. Blend with sugar. Add water and vanilla; mix well.

2) Add flour and pecans. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Shape in balls or fingers.

3) Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (300 to 325 degrees), about 25 minutes until delicately brown.

4) Cool slightly, roll in powdered sugar. Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
