Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup rolled oats
- 6 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
- ½ cup sunflower seed kernels
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup sultanas (optional)
- ¼ cup dried chopped pitted cherries (optional)
Directions
- Blend together well the tahini and honey
- Toast sunflower kernels until slightly brown
- Stir toasted sunflower kernels and oats into honey/tahini
- Drop tablespoon-sized blobs of mixture onto oiled sheet pan
- Bake at 350 °F for 10 minutes or until edges are brown
- Let cool on baking sheet pan several minutes
- Carefully remove to a cooling rack
- The cookies will stick to the sheet pan pan if allowed to cool for too long. If that happens heat the pan a little in the oven before removing cookies
