Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 cup of granulated sugar 
1/3 cup of firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup of butter, softened 
1/2 cup of peanut butter 
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 egg 
1 cup of flour 
1/2 cup of quick cooking oats 
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/4 teaspoon of salt 
1 – 6 ounce package of semisweet chocolate chips

method;
Heat oven to 350F. Beat sugars, butter, peanut butter, vanilla and egg in a medium bowl, until creamy and well  blended.


Mix in flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.  

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.  

Bake 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. 

Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.
